The Corsair HX1000W is not only one of the best performing 1000w+ power supplies we have seen to date but certainly the best built consumer 1000w power supply in this price range, if not overall.

This PSU is a wonderful unit that anyone with a high powered computer should consider purchasing, I don't need a 1kW PSU right now so it is absolutely silent. I'm sure that when I finish my upgrades this PSU will be enough to power anything else I want to throw at it.

This psu has been great to me so far. More than I need right now, but with my future upgrade plans, it will fit right in. BTW, it does fit in an Antec 900 with some tedious cable management

This power supply can run an i7 920 OCed to 4GHz, 2 HD5870 in CrossfireX and a slew of other peripherals and it never whines, gets hot, or even let itself get heard. Absolutely silent, insanely clean power output, and could have been used as a morning star by medieval knights if required, as it's as solid (and heavy) as a concrete block.

I have had no problem with this PSU and it was quite a deal with the instant saving along with the MIR. It is very quiet compared to other units I've had.

Most powerful PSU I have ever used. I power an overclocked i7 920 along with 2 GTX 295 in SLI. It has plenty of juice leftover. I love how it's modular, so cable management is awesome.

Another top of the line item - the HX1000. Its price is huge as well, but it sure does deliver. The quality is terrific and it's backed by a great warranty. Of course, it is then again overkill for a lot of things, so this is purely for beefy bragging rights.
