"In summary, the only real flaw from this product considering its price range is its wrong label; this power supply should be sold as a 430 W unit. Nonetheless we think this is a good product for the average user that doesn’t need a lot of power and wants to save money."

I used a couple of these in some budget builds and they worked perfectly, time will tell how they will hold up but they seem to be solid. The fan is silent and they have a nice range of connectors for newer components, can`t really be beat for the price.

This thing is perfect. I dont need an amazing powersupply to power budget systems, and most cost over 70$ and become the most expensive component in the computer. This PSU fills a need for a powersupply with decent wattage, and at a budget price. It performs as it should. Im using it to power a AMD 7750 and its perfect and at just the price i need it to be! Awesome!

Needed a new power supply for an aging system. It kept shutting down so I replaced it with this one. Got it on a special sale so the price was right. Even at regular price, it's a good buy.

Sure looks like a nice unit, the main ATX power cables are bundled in a sleeve. Too bad it wouldn't power up. I'll give it a better review if I can get one that works.

Used as part of an upgrade, plenty of power for a little Sempron with integrated graphic, silent enough for most of the people.

You need to pay attention as Cooler Master has two power supply series with similar names. The older series is called eXtreme Power and the power supplies from this series are presumably manufactured by Seventeam. The new series is called eXtreme Power Plus, with models being manufactured by AcBel Polytech.

Part of a work computer upgrade. Simply wanted to make sure there was enough power for the new board & dual core processor. No issues at all, good PSU!

ok so we all know coolermaster is at their best when it comes to computer cases but surprisingly they do ok in terms of value on this power supply. 40$ for 460Watt which enough to run a system of a AMD X2 processor + a 7600GT . Even though i only had this for a short time, it certainly looks promising

I bought one of these from NCIX a couple of years ago on sale. There's a good review on the Hardware Secrets site. I researched carefully for an inexpensive but decent quality power supply sufficient for a modest system with a Core 2 Duo CPU, an ATI HD-3850 video card, DVD burner, a couple of hard drives, etc. This power supply has met all my expectations. It is quiet and has run flawlessly. The build quality is very good for the price. Not many systems need a power supply rated over 500 watts, so this is adequate for most systems that are not running very power hungry video cards.

I bought this to power a new box with WHS and don't need this much power, but this unit was less money and on sale to boot. The Antec 300 has a bottom mount p/s and I was worried that I might need an extenstion for the 4-pin P4 motherboard connection. No problem! Cables were plenty long enough.
