Pros
price, bios, overclocking, design
Cons
nothing, im happy with it
Summary
safe dual bios, good design, pcie 2.0, 1333 fsb ( in my case) thats what you get for ur 98$ and guess what , im happy with it, cause i didnt wanted to pay more and i dont need crossfire ( im lying here ) and it does what its supposed to do, this is the baby of the range and its show 4Ghz for my e5200? easy but i stopped because im with the intel stock heatsink lol, but a good 3.5 Ghz is possible, the let down is that the 1600 fsb is impossble but i dont know if its the cpu or the mobo wall. but still 1333 is really good if u plan to overclock and for the rest of u guys its a stable mobo to work with.

Pros
Inexpensive; Solid-state capacitors (no blown caps, yay!!); really nice BIOS; fairly small for an ATX board. Capacitors and other stuff are all fairly low-profile, making installation of other stuff relatively painless. Good PCIE video card clippy thingie.
Cons
Not really made for gaming, despite being able to be overclocked to the nuts. Board warps a bit when the stock heatsink is installed for the CPU which is a little bit scary. Gotta read the BIOS & Manual thoroughly in order to actually get all the benefits since many features are off by default.
Summary
Overall I am impressed with this board for it's features, stability, wicked BIOS, and solid capacitors. If you are interested in this board, note that you really should read the manual and go through the BIOS with a fine-toothed comb, so-to-speak. Many of the features are set up for maximum compatability, and not so much for performance. For example, if you go with all SATA drives, then you will want to turn on some features that are off by default. If you install a PCIE video card, then you are best to set the default video device to PCIE instead of PCI. Stuff like that. It's a bit silly, but the default BIOS settings are definitely not ideal. That said, I really like this board, and would definitely recommend it to others. Plus, the peace of mind one gets from having solid-state capacitors is really hard to put a dollar value on. It's just a really good idea, and I am surprised more board manufacturers aren't doing it.

The software bundle kinda sucks though. And the driver installation software seemed a bit buggy. I got it all to work, but it just seemed flakey.

Pros
nice layout, lots 8 USB ports
Cons
Not for gaming
Summary
The board is very stable and has plenty of options for overclocking, but that is not why I purchased it. It is currently running Ubuntu 64 with a virtualized webserver for practice for coursework, and it works stunningly for this purpose. My energy bill also went down by 20% switching from a P35 to a P43 board.

Pros
Consistent performance.
Cons
None so far.
Summary
This motherboard is always out of stock because of the high demand.

It provides extremely consistent performance and hardly fails.

If you're lucky, you'll find it on sale

Pros
nice layout, lots 8 USB ports
Cons
Realtek Audio and SP3 computability issues.
Summary
BEWARE!!! if you plan to use a third party Audio card, do not install Windows SP3 as the Realteck Drivers are NOT compatible and if you need to re-install drives after SP3, you will need to uninstall SP3 and then re-install the Microsoft UAA High Definition divers from the CD.

I almost lost it when I could not re-install my audio drivers and could not figure out why. Just avoid SP3 with this mobo and if needed for third party audio cards, just disable the Audio in the BIOS..(Integrated Peripherals > "Azalia Codec") -- High def. audio would have been a better name for this option in the BIOS)

The manual is WRONG and misleading, on page 90 it states, Install the Microsoft UAA Bus driver... and update  to the LATEST Service Pack... that is CRAP!! SP3 is the latest and it don't work!!! They need to fix the manual. I spoke with an operator at Gigabyte and they said SP3 does not work with their audio or the. Don't get me wrong if you install the drivers before SP3, they will work even after installing SP3, but if you uninstall the Realteck Drivers for whatever reason, then you are screwed and need to uninstall SP3, or the mobo will keep asking you to install NEW PCI Device. Afterward you NEED to re-install the Microsoft UAA drivers and audio. What a bunch of boneheads!

Pros
Runs cool, low energy draw, smaller than normal ATX
Cons
4 gear 'phase shifting' power conserving technology only works with C2E and C4E disabled, no linux support for 4 gear
Summary
The northbridge and soutbridge heatsinks could have perhaps gotten a swap: the southbridge heats up to the point where it is slightly uncomfortable to touch, while the northbridge barely gets warm. The northbridge heatsink is also about three times the size of the southbridge, fancy that.

Linux support for the '4 gear phase shifting' power conserving technology would be nice.
