This drive has an excellent transfer speed and considerably low latency. Excellent deal for a 1TB $100 if you can get it for less that is just a bonus. Great Drive!

I have purchased 3 of these over a 2 year peroid and I have never been dissapointed and I have encountered no failed drives. Great speed and can be a little loud at times but still quieter than many other 1Tb hard drives. No real difference between the 32mb cache and 64mb cache except the platter density.

I own 4 of these drives, using them in a Raid 5 on my FreeNas. None of them ever failed. They are fast, a bit hot but not too much, and they seem reliable. Would buy again!

Bought two of these to use in a RAID 0 array - they work perfectly. No issues, decent performance (although I always find that the comparable Seagate drive will always be faster).
Great for data, gaming, and installing on operating system! Data transfers decently fast, runs nice, and has plenty to offer! Seems reliable, fast, and nice and quiet most of the time. It comes in a basic package, and is simple and elegant. I love this drive, and would recommend it to anyone!

Defective software, video games or DVDs

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the two year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Warranty length may vary per specific model. Western Digital Raptor and Caviar RE series enterprise drives are covered by a 5 year warranty. Caviar and Caviar Blue & Green desktop drives are covered by a 2 year warranty for OEM drives, and a 1 year warranty for Retail.
Warranty coverage for drives is covered by NCIX for the first thirty (30) days with the remainder of the warranty covered by Western Digital.
