I got this to replace my 6 year old MX700. WOW is all I can say. This is so comfortable and natural feeling and more friendly to large hands than most. I use a KVM so I haven't installed the software (I have to reboot machine after switching between computers to get mouse to work) which means I can't program any buttons, which means the "stealth" button and the left/right scroll don't do anything. The other side buttons default to fwd and back, which is fine by me. My old mouse was the same way. The only small complaint is that for the price, they could have included a couple of rechargeable batteries, that said, 2 regular Duracells are included (and I have dozens of Sanyo Eneloops floating around) I've only had this for a week so I can't comment on battery life.

I was a little skeptical buying a more expensive mouse, but once it came on for 65.99 I thought I'd give it a try. I've used mostly wireless Microsoft optical mice, and the comparison isn't even close. It feels like its made for my hand. The programmable buttons are great as well!

This has been a great purchase! I'd been running with an ancient Logitech cordless wheel mouse because I don't enjoy using most modern mice It's great having a neat wireless plugin instead of the old dongle type to clutter a desk. The wireless has worked well so far. I'm not getting the battery level and extra settings in KDE control center - probably because thsi is a newer design.

Bought this when it was an EDOTD for 39.99. This is the best mouse I have ever owned. It is made for medium/large hand sizes and 100% customizable (aside from the left and right click buttons). Battery life appears to be amazing. Range is decent and no drop outs yet. I especially like the accelerated scroll wheel and smooth scrolling. I also like the fact that it has 10 buttons that you can assign global and program specific functions to.

Customization has been a staple with many Logitech mice in the last few years, and the MX1100 is certainly no exception. Users can toggle dpi settings on the fly, switch from two vertical scrolling modes, and remap eight out of ten buttons. No weight tuning options here, though there's no need given that the two AA batteries weigh the 1100 down considerably (5.54 ounces).
