The performance of these memory sticks is very solid, and there is no compatibility issues with 6 sticks installed at the same time. I'm not saying I didn't expect top quality, but I do appreciate it.

I have to say, I'm disappointed with the overclocking ability of this memory. The best I could do is 1660 MHz at the stock timings of 8-8-8-24, 1T. They don't like VDIMM increases and extra VTT doesn't seem to help (not that I'd be comfortable running above the XMP VTT of 1.35 for any length of time). I read multiple reviews of this kit getting near 1800 MHz with these timings, but not even close for me. I guess Corsair decided to go with cheaper ICs after the kit had been reviewed, and it wouldn't be the first time. To top it all off, the overclocking forum on the Corsair forum website is dead, and I got no replies from anyone for weeks. For $100 less, I could have gotten the same performance from the vanilla 1600 MHz kit. For this price, you should be able to overclock! I'll think twice before I go with Corsair RAM again...

the ram is cool and solid build. You may need to overclock the core in order to get 1600. I highly recommend this ram. Also, this ram do not come with the fan

Bought it for my i7 920. But in order to get the 1600 speed, You either have to overclock your core or tweak the RAM vs Uncore setting.
