Cpu 4+4pin could have been a bit longer...C'MON
Summary
Great power supply which deliver high power efficiency for gamers. but the Cpu 4+4pin could have been a bit longer...C'MON , Seem like a bad joke from corsair... i got to pull it over my gpu and betwwen my cpu cooler and exhaust fan.

Pros
Lots of power and stable
Great price
Sleeved cables
Cons
Cables are excessively long, may be a problem for some.
Summary
I own this and also the TX750 and both are great power supplies. I also received the rebate after about 7 weeks.

A great quality PSU and one of the better prices as well for its class. Enough wattage and amps even for the top single video cards and most SLI setups.

My only gripe and its a minor one is the cables are excessively long. I have a large case with with pretty good cable management so its not to much of an issue but even still its an extra fuss and would be bad for those who cannot hide and tie it back well.

Pros
Tons of power for the regular gaming rig
Cons
Non-modular is annoying.
Summary
Make sure you need a non-modular power supply or you have lots of room in your case. I have a window in my case and it's kind of a mess in there due to all the cables. That being said, good power supply with lots of juice.

Pros
Very solid
lots of connections
ready for SLI or CF setups
Cons
non-modular so extra unused cables have to go somewhere, in a big bundle usually
Summary
Got this for my new gaming/video editing rig and I'm happy with it. It's capable of powering (2) 8-pin video cards also, for SLI or CF. Lots of sata and molex power plugs, as well as the typical 24 and 8 pin motherboard connections. I got it on a MIR sale price so it was a good deal for 850W; large enough for all my needs.

Pros
Low noise
Lots of clean power
Corsair quality build psu
Very reliable
Good price
Cons
None really, I would have liked it if it was modular for this price.
Summary
I have one in my computer with all of these
OCZ 6gb ram
i7 920 overclocked to 4.2
5 case fans
corsair h70
640gb 6gb/s
1tb 6gb/s
nzxt fan controller
samsung dvd drive
Asus 5870 Video Card.
ASUS P7P55D-E LX LGA1156 Motherboard

And I still have LOTS of room to put more stuff in here. I could probably even do a crossfire of the 5870

Pros
Runs cool and quiet. Has many connectors.
Cons
Cable jackets made cables a little stiff to work with. Not a huge problem though.
Summary
I bought this PSU with the intention of not being limited by it. So far I am very pleased. I was concerned about the neatness of the spare cables, but with a big case I was able to get them into a small enough bunch that I don't mind them along the bottom corner. Also, I'm not sure if this is by design but I found when hooking up my SATA hdd I had to flip the power connector 180 degrees from the way it wanted to sit to connect it. Then, when I went to connect a second hdd with the next connector along the same cable, I had to flip that one too! It worked but flustered me a bit, especially with the semi-stiff cable.

Pros
-Lots of Connectors, Good cable length, and cables are sleeved
-Admirable performance, nothing to complaint about.
Cons
-Very noisy
Summary
I purchased this power supply after I realized that my aging Seasonic 500w psu could not power heavily overclocked I5 760 and a pair of HD4890's in crossfire. The cables are nicely sleeved and does not obstruct airflow in a case. The performance is just fine, handling the load easily.

However, my biggest complaint is the noise level, I thought the 140mm fan would be able to stay relatively quiet, but compared to my old Seasonic, which was inaudible over my other case fans, this unit is significantly louder than all my other 9 fans combined. But I suppose this has its advantages since the unit does stay cooler to the touch compared to my old Seasonic S12. Still... I wish I spent a bit more money on another quieter Seasonic model.

Pros
Tons of power!

Cons

Summary
I have installed 2 of these in recent computers and they work like a charm. Very quiet operation, no annoying LED's glowing, tons of power connectors for all your needs.

Pros
+ Powerfull
+ Love that you can see the corsair logo at the back of the case
Cons
- Maybe not
Summary
Using this to power a 5850, AMD Phenom II X6, two Hard Drives, a blu-ray burner, a dvd burner, a fan controler and a media card reader with out problems. I'm confident it could tackle more. Will be fine if I decide to upgrade to a second video card, or third hard drive.

Comment: If you're a gamer, then there's no need to buy an expensive 1000W+ PSU ... An affordable power supply that can satisfy the needs of most gamers is plenty enough ... meet the Corsair TX850W PSU.

Comment: Corsair has seemingly righted the ship that is the PSH850 for the most part by providing a power supply with good voltage regulation, a very good build quality, is reasonably quiet, and has in specification DC output quality making this a solid 850 watt PSU choice.
