The sleek Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router works in two radio bands at the same time, delivering twice the bandwidth for smooth high-definition video, lag free gaming, and uninterrupted music in one band, while browsing the Internet, sharing files, sending e-mail, and printing in the other. Wireless-N gives you incredible range and speed in both bands, while Linksys' Entertainment Optimized Networking (EON) technology prioritizes network traffic so that time-sensitive applications like HD video stream smoothly.
The Storage Link feature lets you connect a hard drive or flash-based USB storage device directly to your network to easily add gigabytes of storage. Access your music, video, or data files from any PC within your network, or securely through the Internet. The 4 built-in Gigabit ports provide far faster connections to your wired devices than standard Ethernet ports.
Setup is quick and easy with the PC or Mac compatible Setup Wizard, and making secure wireless connections is as simple as pressing a button with Wi-Fi Protected Setup™. Use the included Linksys EasyLink Advisor (LELA) program as your personal technology expert to help manage and optimize your network as it grows.
With the Linksys Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router at the center of your home or office network, you can easily add storage, share a high-speed Internet connection, files, printers and multi-player games, and run media-intensive applications at amazing speeds, without the hassle of stringing wires!

I purchased this and got a great deal on it.. I'll keep it for now, but I am looking for another solution. It won't allow for much usage on my mac's without some tweaking and even then the SMB is poor. I haven't tried it on my PC's in the household, but apart from the features I bought into it runs great and is stable.

I bought this router knowing fully of all the negative consumer reviews it's been getting -- and I did keep it in mind when I purchased this unit from NCIX. However, it seems to be obvious that many users who complained about the reliability, stability, and performance of this router seems to just buy the most expensive router thinking they would know how to use it -- unfortunately it is important to note that this router is NOT for everyone. If you are networking geek enough and know how to use this router properly, this is an excellent router. I experienced zero connection drops over wireless, had over 8MB/s at 50% signal over N at 5GHz 2 floors away from this router (93% over 2.4GHz G at same location but with much degraded performance), consistent and stable, and as aforementioned excellent performance. I locked 2.4GHz into G only mode and 5GHz into N only mode for two separate networks. Overall, this router is everything you are looking for if you want performance and stability over both wireless and wired (although the latter is not significant despite its Gigabit ports since I already have a separate Gigabit switch for my home network incorporating 3 servers and 7 computers). It's expensive, but it's worth every penny if you want the best -- given that you know how to use it!

I bought this after my roommate got a ps3 and kept killing our connections on the crappy G d-link my ex left me.

Really disapointed especially for the price, i would give it the same score as my last D-Link WBR-2310 which was a real piece of crap, but it was way way cheaper. Other than that i really liked the design, but hey my home network won't be faster cuz of that. So if you want a real router without breaking the bank i would go D-Link 825 without a doubt.

it's a really good router overall, but if I had the choice, I would get the 310 and a SAN...
