Very happy with the purchase so far. For the price the acer is a really excellent value. It may not come with some of the add ons the HP home servers do, but you can get those from third party developers. I'm also impressed by the speed of this unit. I upgraded from a Dlink 323 and there is a massive different between the two in transfer rates and responsiveness (as one would expect given the diff in hardware).

If it wasn't for the badly designed drive trays, I would give this a 5 star rating. But the trays are so crappy that it just dropped to 3.

I'm _very_ happy with this product. It's a real time-saver vs. the traditional DIY RAID-based NAS's out there, and it's ability to automate backups is better than any host-based software I've ever used.

I'd buy again d less than $380, current 1 TB drives on sale are $80, so for what works out to $300 I get a server that has auto backup back up and 4 drive bays that are all accessible from any computer in my house, or the internet if I want. NICE clean set up. And my PS3 and Itunes can access the data as well. Happy

I am super happy with this little server, especially given the price point. I had been looking to build an Atom server in line with the HP offerings for a long time but couldn't find the combo of chassis and components that would let me stack similar storage into a similar footprint... And then the Acer came along.

Overall I'm very happy with my WHS server. The device does require some networking/windows knowledge to manage, but overall for a "Microsoft" product, it's quite good.

Been a great server for the past 3 months. Easy to set up to do daily back ups of our home computers. I am able to store all my media on it and still use my Xbox 360 Media Center Extender to view it all.
