i bought this for a mid end gaming machine i was putting together in a ITX set-up

bought it on sale for $169.99

put it together with a Gigabyte H55 itx board and 8 gig or ddr3 1600 and a 5870 gpu

no overclocking since this is in a itx case (sg07)

play BF BC2 at 1920x1200 max settings and getting over 50 fps

Hyperthreading would be great but it is understandable why it isnt.

Awesome Cpu with excellent potential for overclocking, great for gaming basic computing, entry level boards and getting a system to compete with a high end system! Best bang for buck.

Great bang for your buck. I was able to reach 4GHz fairly easily but required extra voltage. Make sure you have a decent heatsink if you are looking to reach 4 or higher

NCIX provides limited warranty for this product for 30 days after purchase.

Intel OEM processors are warrantied by NCIX for seven (7) days if not purchased with a system or motherboard.  Intel Retail Boxed processors have a full 3 year warranty through Intel.
