I bought this today and put it in. I didn't edge up the overclock on it but took some numbers I thought I'd try and wow instant 3.458 Ghz overclock. Haven't tried higher yet...I have a sense of ease in this overclock and that it can go way higher...but hey 3.458 is a real decent overclock at stock volts.
This is also at only 40 degrees on stock cooler. Wonder if I can hit 4G like some have.

Awesome price for the speed and multitasking capabilities. I under volted this 620 and it doesn't get hotter than 42c under load using the stock heatsink, being OC'd to 3ghz and remaining stable. Highly recommended for a budget quad build.

I changed my AMD Athlon X2 5000+ 2600Mhz (13x200Mhz) x 3000Mhz (16x200Mhz). Altough this CPU is "only" 2.6Ghzm, the quad core beats my old 2 cores CPU. Great performance gain, Now GTA4 is finally playable x 1680x1050 with my 9800GT. Before the 2 cores where nearly at 100% Cpu usage when I played, now it stays much lower. Multitasking made even better.

This chip is an amazing value. Put this into a budget build and was blown away by the performance for so little cash. I built a Phenom II last spring and this thing isn't far behind it performance wise. Only thing that shows it's budget nature is the really cheap fan on the included heatsink. Everything else is top notch.

This is a great CPU for its price. I bought it for my own system as it was time for an upgrade but I did not need anything over the top. So far, it has performed wonderfully and I could not have expected any better.

Incredible chip for the money. I refuse to buy intel and I may pick up another of these for my second tower.
Using this on a Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H board with OCZ ram.

Paired this processor w/ a Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P mobo. So far, am LOVING it. I have easily been able to overclock this beast to ~3.5GHz with a load temp below 40C, making this rival the Phenom II 9xx series for 1/2 the price. No luck with unlocking the L3 cache but most people probably wont notice much of a difference anyways. Would definitely recommend buying this processor for those on a budget or those looking to milk as much performance as possible off a budget processor.

I bought this w/ the Asus M4A785-M motherboard as a combo. I'm upgrading from a Phenom 9600 on another Asus board. I can notice the difference for cpu intensive tasks like zipping/unzipping files. Runs about ~30c light load (web, word processing) on the stock hsf (controlled by motherboard) in an Antec P180 mini case, case fans x low speed setting.
