Looking for the perfect "enthusiast" media box for your living room? The Box Office from Patriot Memory may be about as close as it gets. The only thing not included is an eye patch and a Jolly Roger.
The Patriot Box Office has the ability to play virtually every multimedia file known, stream HD, and support an internal 2.5” hard drive. Combine these features and its low price, we recommend this media player over all others.

i like the PBO i got it for Christmas for $60 after mir,
very inexpensive for what you get, now i am able to watch my hd movies and divx directly on the tv , but streaming 1080p movies on wifi, you get some slow down from time to time,

Ok, lot's of users love the PBO, but I could not get over how lame the user interface is. Seems Patriot has stopped supplying any future firmware updates for it as well. Last one was Mar 2011. Ended up purchasing a WDTV Live Streaming which I prefer over the PBO.

I seriously recommend this to all your family,friends,and Co-workers before they take it from you. lol!Controls are simple to operate.Small,lightweight,and durable.Case isn't plastic.Make sure to pick one up when it's on sale quite often.

Had trouble getting this to recognize the files on my file server, but after going through all the sharing options a second time I got everything straightened out. Works great so far. Nice picture, sound is good and the remote works well.

Decided to buy this because my TV only recognizes videos in .mpg format. So far it's performing great (except for the networking bit I mentioned earlier). Haven't tried installing an internal HDD, just been running everything through the USB so far.

Although PBO player is one of the cheaper players out there, still this does not mean it lacks any capabilities of other expensive media players. I did notice however though playing very high bit-rate mkv files through the USB connection did cause some lag in playback and some freezes at random times. But other than these small nuisances, this player has my stamp of approval, get yourself one while it is on sale

Nice unit but nothing special. Very similar to Asus O!Play. I does not save my TV settings for some reason. Tried many different combination but it always reset TV setting to 480i. Very Annoying.

NCIX provides a 30 day limited warranty on this product. The remainder of the 1 year warranty is provided by the manufacturer.

All Patriot Memory Extreme Performance USB Flash products are offered with a two (2) year warranty. All Patriot Memory "Express" USB and "mini II" USB products are offered with a two (2) year warranty. All Patriot Memory Signature SD, SDHC, and Compact Flash products are offered with a five (5) year warranty. All Patriot Memory Signature USB flash drives are offered with a two (2) year warranty. All Patriot Memory SSD 100GB and 200GB "Inferno" Solid State Drives are offered with a five (5) year warranty. All Patriot Memory SSD 60GB, 120GB and 240GB "Inferno" Solid State Drives are offered with a three (3) year warranty. All Patriot Memory SSD "TORQX" and "TORQX m28" Solid State Drives are offered with a ten (10) year warranty. **Note: Effective January 31, 2011, Patriot Memory will be adjusting the warranty period from 5-years to 2-years and from lifetime to 5-years on selected USB flash drives. Patriot Memory believes that the new warranty period better reflects current industry standards. Patriot Memory's AES security enabled Bolt USB flash drive has a 5-year warranty period will not be affected by this change.
