Important SSD notes:
Solid State Drives DO NOT require defragmentation. It may decrease the lifespan of the drive.
Consumers may see a discrepancy between reported capacity and actual capacity; the storage industry standard is to display capacity in decimal. However, the operating system usually calculates capacity in binary format, causing traditional HDD and SSD to show a lower capacity in Windows. In the case of SSDs, some of the capacity is reserved for formatting and redundancy for wear leveling. These reserved areas on an SSD may occupy up to 5% of the drive’s storage capacity.
Rated speeds may vary slightly depending on the benchmark used, drivers, windows version, bios version and file size. We recommend using ATTO, IOMeter, and PC Mark Vantage for benchmarking SSDs.

Not much to say other than its fast reliable and able to boot win 7 ult on 4 gb of 2000mhz (oc'd to 2056) in about 18 seconds. IM LOVING IT though it doesnt leave that much room on teh drive after a os is installed

Installed this as the system drive on a an Atom D330-based nettop. Updated to the newest firmware without any issues. The user has WinXP Pro installed, so we made a simple Scheduler item that runs OCZ's TRIM/Wiper utility. This drive isn't all that fast and it's very small, but in a system with a slow CPU and very light storage needs, it's perfect.

Overall, if you just want to make your OS boot faster and launch your web browser and word super fast, I highly suggest this SSD for the price it sits at. As a gaming SSD, it just lacks the capacity as you can only keep 1 game (7GB) on it at a time without degrading performance (with win7 installed).

I would recommend getting this drive if you are on a budget and don't need a higher capacity drive. The speed difference is very noticable over conventional drives. You may purchase more of these drives and configure in RAID 0 to increase capacity and performance.

I have this drive in a USB 2.0/eSATA enclosure as a Windows 7 installation drive and drivers disk. Rather than installing Windows in about 30-45 minutes from a DVD, it installs from the SSD in about half the time! Blazing fast speeds - you still get the SSD "feel" because of the fast random read and write speed.
for the price, an excellent value. Defiantly faster than my velociraptor 80GB. (not a typo, 80GB VR). If you want higher benchmark numbers, get a vertex 2 or something. If you just want a responsive system with 32gb on a budget, can't go wrong with this.

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate along with Office 2010 Professional and have around 13-14GB of space remaining. I used this drive as the primary drive in my T61 and installed the old hard drive as a secondary drive in the Ultrabay slot (replacing the DVD drive). So far, speeds have improved a lot and I got a 7.0 rating in Windows Experience Index.

I bought one of these as a system drive for a less computer-savvy user that does not use any large programs save for office. The storage on this drive is enough to install windows 7 and office comfortably, but not much else. You need a secondary drive with this, save for the simplest uses. The user did notice a nice performance upgrade though :)
