The PC 330 has a stylish ear cup design that’s perfect for big gaming events. Another clever feature of the PC 330 is the volume control, which Sennheiser Communications has conveniently integrated directly in the right ear cup. It’s a vast improvement on the standard in-line control and cuts out that annoying fumbling around for wires in the middle of a game or Skype session. Like the swivel DJ Hinge, the on-ear cup control gives gamers fast and intuitive access with no unnecessary distractions. Muting the microphone is even quicker. At the end of a gaming session, you just raise the microphone boom.

They have great sound and really good construction quality just be warned they can be a little tight on your head untill they adjust to your headsize.

I bought this headset to replace a cheap (~$50) usb headset for voip and gaming use. The microphone is of decent quality (when compared to my Rode Vid Mic Pro) but was noticeably better than my $50 USB set.
On a sale price like these are right now, I'd snatch up a pair as a backup headset. Very good quality sound, but overall construction not as good as I had hoped for. I will wait for the PC 360s to go on sale.

cant really go wrong with sennheisers, sound is very accurate and easy to listen to, mic is good too, however it's a bit tight, might need to break them in for some time before it's comfortable to wear

First, lets get the cons out of the way. The pinching, while the only downside here, is huge. if you have a large head like myself (or large/sensitive ears), don't wear them for periods longer then an hour or two. You'll remove them and have to deal with a few minutes of aching pain. >_<
Great headset. Sound quality and the microphone are both great. The headset is a little bit tight to the head.. but it can be stretched out and fits really well now.
