It is a fast drive until you start to fill it like any other drive. It is small enough that it fits anywhere, also it comes with the mounting rack which is very handy. It also does not work very well on AMD because the TRIM feature does not work you have to find a program to TRIM/Clean it or leave it on idle for a long time. I have not had any other different type of SSD's so I can not compare them...I would like to get a different SSD to compare. This SSD drive have a good performance at first, but rapidly the perfomance decrease and I experiment a "boot disk failure" at two years of life. OCZ have replace the defective unit (very good customer service) but I have loose some data with this failure.

I would say overall this drive is a must have however I had issues with mine not being detected by my computers bios. I am in the process of going through an RMA for it. I would definitely but one of these again as the other one I bought works perfectly and never had an issue with it. I think I just got a bad one. OCZ products have always been super reliable for me.

bought one of these initially to replace a 200GB ide drive for my parents. now on to a new system and bought 2 more of the same model with a msi p67a-g43 mobo to use raid 5 (111GB capacity now) . i dont want to have to be doing more tech support on there computer and hopefully this setup (along with a UPS) will keep their system completely crash free and data loss free for years to come. don't forget to update the firmwares if you can.
Mine stopped working after only 7 months. OCZ RMA'd it but I refuse to put it back in. Too many horror stories with these drives. I do not want to do that again.
Very good SSD, Windows boots lightning fast. The size is the only downside and has nothing to do with the quality, the brand is great but I recommend a minimum of 120gb for a boot drive if you want to fit a few of your commonly used applications on it for quick load times.

Installed Windows 7 and machine was amazingly fast compared to the previous hard drive (and quiet, I had no idea how much noise and vibration the hard drive normally creates until I booted to this drive).
