Display Modes
The display mode hotkey makes changing the size of the screen content as simple and quick as a button press. Instantly switch among 17", 19", 19" widescreen, and 22" widescreen formats so you get the best possible view of whatever you happen to be watching. You can also take advantage of the Smart-Scaling button, added especially for the benefit of gamers. You can adjust the size of the screen content until your avatar's actions precisely correspond to your expectations based on your control movements, so you can perform with peak effectiveness.
FPS Mode
BenQ's team worked with HeatoN and SpawN to develop a display mode attuned to the needs of shooter game aficionados. The aim was to create a display mode that provides gamers with a totally accurate representation of each scene in a virtual world so they're never put at a disadvantage in a key encounter with the enemy because of hardware shortcomings. There are also two user-configurable modes that let gamers set and save the exact brightness, contrast, sharpness, and : Red/Green/Blue color tint that they prefer and that let them be at their best in a pitched battle with a crafty enemy.
2ms GTG Response Time
A super-short response time means both fast-moving action and dramatic transitions are rendered cleanly, without the smearing or ghosting that's not only annoying but can affect your performance when a millisecond can make the difference between a successful sneak attack and a strike that ends in failure.

This board is very good. The colour reproduction is a lot better than my old samsung t220 monitor, and the refresh rate is very fast. As well, the 1920:1080 is a big improvement than the 1680:1050. Playing games on this monitor is a dream, and having the higher refresh rate really helps to spot subtle actions in the game.

Other than having to play around with the settings a little bit this monitor is amazing. Also the buttons being on the bottom of the screen is kind of annoying.
This monitor has good features and the picture quality can be pretty good after some adjustment. Good price for the features compared to other 120Hz monitors.
Picture quality is great, great colors after you change some settings. Prepare yourself for first start up! The back light flickers and shuts off randomly on mine after 6 weeks. Requesting RMA from Benq now, so I can't say how the customer service is just yet, seems ok so far.
The OSD is hard to navigate and is not intuitive at all.

I bought this and replaced my very old 19" I-INC monitor. I am very pleased with the quality of this BenQ monitor. No dead pixels is def. a plus! Out of box don't look too great, took me 1/2 hour to fidget with the colors to get it looking right. I just wish there was a one touch button to switch from standard mode to FPS mode. Also it is set to 100 brightness out of the box, you will have to turn it down a bit if you do a lot of work at night. The 120hz make everything very smooth as well.
When I first got this monitor I was a quite disappointed with the color, but after fiddling with the color calibrations and doing a few Google searches for the best settings, everything started to look great. The monitor performed absolutely great. Until today. Today is the 32nd day since I purchased the monitor, and it just got a nice big verticle line down the middle... awesome... This is the second BenQ product I've bought. My previous monitor was also from BenQ and it also broke after 1 year. DO NOT BUY ANY BENQ PRODUCTS. They're decently priced, but man do they suck.

This is an amazing monitor for gaming, given the price point. Upgrading from a 5ms 60hz Samsung, this monitor is both easier on the eyes, and you can see a huge difference in hand/eye synchronization whether it be just your mouse cursor in WoW, or your crosshair in a shooter.
I'll be honest I was pretty sceptical about 120hz and gaming, but after buying this monitor I'm hooked. I have a 60hz screen that I use to the side of this one but it just doesn't compare it almost feels like it's lagging. This is a top notch monitor at a very nice price for what you get. I would definitely buy it again.
