I purchased this ram due to 3 considerations. Firstly I needed RAM that I was sure would properly work with my older AMD CPU (Phenom II X4 955) and would properly detect voltage and was - ideally - tested with my specific motherboard. Secondly I wanted RAM that would be compatible with a new CPU / Motherboard from the Ivy Bridge family of processors, in case I chose that upgrade path sooner rather that later. Thirdly I wanted RAM that was reasonably priced and didn't come with huge heatsinks and fancy crap I don't need.
Installed this onto my Gigabyte P55M-UD2 motherboard without any problems. I love the look of these RAM sticks compared to my old, boring black ones. Was able to price match another e-tailer and saved a couple bucks.

I'm not fond of ram that have heat spreaders that are significantly taller than the stand height for DDR3, but this has preformed well and didn't block anything.

Defective software, video games or DVDs
will be replaced by the SAME title and format ONLY (and subject

video games and DVDs may be returned within 30 days only if the
item is UNOPENED (with shrink wrap still intact) at the sole discretion
of NCIX.com.
