Pros
Price! Some Have It Stable!
Cons
If it works for you then bonus!
Summary
I'm going to have to say that I've had mixed reviews about this modem now when I've set it up on a Teksavvy connection in Northern Ontario.
The issues I experienced were that the modem would drop  the connection then restart often.
I had (Bell) tech come over for troubleshooting the competitors DSL connection which the tech stated that he would rather I sign up for Bell and he'd definitely have the connection working 100 percent before he left. Really...

Anyways, after a ton of troubleshooting and even going to the DEMARC location and singling out that it's most likely an issue outside of the house he called Toronto...setup a device and they tuned my 15 Meg connection down to 10 Megs and it stabilized the connection.

This only lasted that day though and the modem returned to drop ping out etc.

After putting up with this for a week I purchased a D-Link DSL-520B and this modem works 99% effective on this shaky connection. That's right it has an up time that lasts days now and perhaps you'll unplug it say once in 5 or 7 days.

The connection is now 10 to 12 Megs down and it shows my line stats that I'm capable of 17 Megs down and a SNR down of 14ish. I'm happy now...

Pros
CHEAP, entertaining trying to fix it.
Cons
worst customer service, cheap parts, unstable
Summary
I have owned this modem 8 months. in 8 months it gave me issues 8-10 times. Sometimes I cannot connect to the modems ip address and sometimes I can. Sometimes I even get a weird ZHONE internet page instead of the generic TP link page. Customer service is horrible with beginners trying to give you support.

BEST OF ALL... they don't speak english. And Apparently neither do I because They don't understand Jack of what I am talking about!

I spent countly hours trying to fix the problems but they appear as radomly as they disappear. I have had 2wire modems, belkins, speedstreams and this has got to be the absolute worst modem I have ever had. Thanks to them also I have came accross the most pathetic customer support on the planet.
upgrading the firmware doesn't even work. Percentage goes to 100% reboots but comes back saying I have the same version.
This is the second review I do in 30min for this item and the first time it said invalid OrderID and reverted back to an empty box. Bravo ncix I just spent 20 min writting the first review for nothing.

Pros
Not expensive
Cons
White lol
Summary
I've got 19MBps on it, very reliable so far, but i guess it doesn't last long. So far it didn't reboot itself like the old modem I had. for 25$ you can't complain! You get more than what you pay for!

Pros
Price, if you get lucky
Cons
Being this cheap comes at a price, and costs have been cut a little too much, making this a piece of trash.
Summary
Every other review that I read failed to mention that "feels cheap" meant that the rj-45 jack was so poorly fabricated that it would stay connected to the computer it was plugged into. About 5-6 painfully frustrating unplugging and replugging of the cable (had this issue with 3 different network cables) later... it would not connect at all.

So cheap it's not even worth the savings compared to a 516, and at 23$... it's going straight to the trash, I'm not going to bother returning this crap.

Experience: 8 Days
Pros
-Works straight out of the box with no setup required on my Tekksavvy account.
-Has not dropped connection for the past 8 days straight. Not my idea of 100% stable, but not completely dodgy either.
-Works just fine in tandem with my Linksys WRT54GL router with Tomato 1.28 firmware.
-Comes with RJ45 and RJ11 cables, a splitter as well as a setup disc and manual should you need these.
-PRICE. Very well priced for what it offers.
Cons
-For whatever reason I am unable to log into the modem via the designated IP address to make configuration changes. Good thing it worked straight out of the box and any changes needing to be made can be done straight through my router.
-Does not look anything like the above picture. Mine is wider, thinner and white in colour.
-Does run a tad warm, but nothing to really complain about.
Summary
I bought this modem in a hurry from my local shop. Unfortunately could not wait to get it from NCIX. I was having major connection problems that started out of the blue a couple weeks back. The prior Speedstream 4200 modem would no longer hold a connection. It was constantly dropping connection, no longer able to sync up with my ISP or would say it was connected but could not get online. After a few calls into tech support, I was asked to hook up my old modem to the demarcation point in my basement to rule out any wiring in the house being a problem. Sure enough the modem would not properly sync up there either so no line test could be done on my connection. It was suggested that perhaps the modem was at fault. After nearly 2 weeks without the internet I rushed to my local shop to pick up this modem. I really liked the price compared to the Thomson TN516 which is highly recommended but double the price. Since I was not 100% sure the modem was the culprit I did not want to waste anymore money than I had to on an item I may not need but could not return. Luckily this modem is working great and saved me nearly $30 in the process. I very much recommend this modem and only give it 4/5 due to my inability to log into the modem like I should be able to to change settings should I see fit. Save yourself the money and get this over the higher priced Thomson.
