This is a great board for a budget build, doesn't have bells and whistles but is a nice reliable, cheap motherboard. Ideal for builds on the cheap or builds intended for a small case.
An excellent quality budget motherboard. No IDE port if you want to plug an older CD/hard drive and only 2 onboard USB connectors (plus four ports on the back panel). Wakeup on sleep via keyboard is disabled by default in the bios and needs to be set to "Any Key" to wake up from a keypress in Windows.

Got this motherboard for a budget bulldozer build. At first I was not sure if I would receive rev 3.1 or 4.0. The first one needs to have the bios flashed prior to getting bulldozer support while the 4.0 revision generally has support for it out of the box. For some reason, rev 3.1 has a 4+1 phase VRM and supports processors with a TDP of up to 125W, while the newer revision (rev4.0) only has a 3+1 phase VRM and CPU support for up to 95W TDP (per gigabyte website).
I did not really need USB 3 since this machine was going to obtain shared date via network / NAS, therefore, the build in GB LAN was more important and it worked without any issues (just make sure you have CAT5E or CAT6 cables). Sata II should be more than sufficient while the onboard radeon 3000 was supplemented with an HD6570 which I had lying around.

Warranty Effective On Date of Manufacture
Gigabyte determines warranty based on the manufacture date. The manufacture date can be verified by the serial number found on the product. The first four digits after "SN" determine the year and week of manufacturing date. For example:

RMA Request Procedures and Guidelines
All RMA request forms must be completed in order to obtain a RMA number
RMA request with missing or incorrect serial number(s) may result in a delayed process or a rejection of request
