this is really fast even on sata 2. Windows installs in about 11 min from about 20 min on an hdd so it was reduced by 9 min and it isnt even running at full speed because of the sata 2 restriction.

i bought this for my laptop and it's awesome. uses less power, does not cause heat, and the speed is crazy! i would recommend switching up your stock hard drives for an sdd like this one

Got it on sale for $174. Great bang-for-your-buck SATA 3 SSD. So far none of that sandforce problems other SSDs have. Overall a great product.

Bought this to but in my DELL XPS M1710 (gave it a new lease on life). Does not seem as fast as the Corsair Force II i had to return- (no hard drive detected) on start up on 1 out of 10 start ups. Both drives installed quickly and flawlessly on older SATA II system.

The drive I got was one of the fixed models from corsair. So far the only issue I've had with it was BIOS related. Everytime I set it as my primary boot drive, it resets itself back to trying to boot from my storage drive. Still boots fine, just takes a second to run through boot priorities. Otherwise this drive is very fast and performs as expected. With Windows 7 Pro, SC2, Steam, CS:S, and several small programs installed I only have about 38Gb free on it. If you have the money go for the 240Gb model. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
