The Corsair Carbide Series: Everything You Need, Nothing You Don't.
Airflow is a breeze with the Carbide Series. Two front-panel intake fans and one rear exhaust fan are included, and there are a total of ten mounting points.
Carbide Series 400R: Upgrade how you want, when you want.
The 400R has been carefully designed to provide a generous amount of internal volume, and it puts that volume to good use. There’s room for eight PCI-E cards of up to 316mm in length, and even room for a full 240mm radiator for compatibility with the Hydro Series H100 Liquid CPU Cooler and modular watercooling systems. Superior airflow is a requirement for high-performance components that will be regularly pushed to their limits, so the 400R has ten fan mounting points for cooling flexibility. Three 120mm fans — two in the front, and one in the rear — are included, so you’re ready to start building right out of the box.
Carbide 500R: Serious airflow never looked this good.
Want even more outrageous cooling flexibility? Step up to the 500R. It adds a 200mm fan mounted on the side panel’s mesh screen for extra GPU cooling, a multi-channel fan controller, and removable and relocateable hard drive cages. The ability to move and remove hard drive cages not only improves airflow — it also allows you to install graphics cards of up to 452mm in length.
High-performance gaming systems need lots of room to work with. With eight expansion slots and 316mm of clearance, the Carbide 400R has room for triple-GPU installations.

Support for USB 3.0 and 2.5” SSDs is built-in. Two USB 3.0 connectors are provided on the front panel and connect directly to motherboards with compatible USB 3.0 headers. Integrated SSD support lets you install 2.5” solid-state drives in any of the hard drive bays, without having to deal with adapters.
Easy access.
Thumb screws on the side panels and tool-free drive installation mean that you’ll spend less quality time with your screwdriver, and the integrated dust filters can be quickly removed for easy maintenance.
Looking good, inside and out.
The beauty on the inside goes beyond the black-painted interior. Corsair’s innovative cable management system provides a straightforward way to route cables behind the motherboard, not across it where it can interfere with airflow and give your system a cluttered look. And since looks are an important part of any build, you’ll appreciate the ability to turn the front panel fan white LEDs on or off with the push of a button.

The Corsair Carbide Series 400R shares a lot of the same features as its more expensive counterparts, but is concentrated into a smaller package at a cheaper cost for the buyer. Like the Graphite Series 600T cases, it offers some serious airflow with an expansion capability of up to ten fans.

Bought this for a new build for my wife. Great quality for the price. Design made it easy to install all the components and there is lots of elbow room too.

A very good case for the money. It can get a bit loud when there's no other noise in the room, but not really noticeable while watching a movie or playing games or listening to music.

This case looks and feels good. It has a lot more room inside than it looks on the outside. Compared to my Antec P180, the Carbide has more room, is lighter, looks better, has more fans/space for fans, has better air flow, takes up less space... the list just goes on.
Overall this is an amazing case. It has got lots of room, great air flow, excellent build quality and material. I got it for around $80, which is a steal!

This is a good csse. It can be price matched to well under 100. It has fantastic cooling, and is easy to work in. I just built a system for a customer using this case. They have called me twice since receiving their build, and have told me how impressed they are with the cooling. I actually own the bigger brother myself, the 500r. I highly recommend the 400r and 500r to anyone looking for a fairly inexpensive case with great cooling.

I just got This case today and... it is amazing.Very Nice Looking,Handle on top, comes with 3 fans, well built, gromits for cable managment (inside and the back), alot of room inside, tool-less design, tool-less removable drive bays. This case is amazing.

Just unpacked the old case and threw the rig into this one. Amazing difference (didn't cut my hand once - a nice change for the first time ever!). HD installation was amazingly simple. SSDs mount to the treys, but you have to pull out one of the sides.

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the two year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
