Important SSD notes: Consumers may see a discrepancy between reported capacity and actual capacity; the storage industry standard is to display capacity in decimal. However, the operating system usually calculates capacity in binary format, causing traditional HDD and SSD to show a lower capacity in Windows. In the case of the Synapse SSD, 50% NAND flash overprovisiong is used to accommodate performance and software features. Rated speeds may vary slightly depending on the benchmark used, drivers, windows version, bios version and file size. Rated performance is achieved by using the Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard in conjuntion with a 1TB HDD, using ATTO, IOMeter, and PC Mark Vantage.
Disclaimer: Your Dataplex licensing key is only valid on one machine. Dataplex uses various components to identify a PC (memory, OS, CPU Id, BIOS, Ethernet card); if two or more components change, it is considered a different machine. If you wish to change only one component, Dataplex will automatically revalidate the license as long as there is an internet connection when the PC is rebooted. You must uninstall Dataplex to release the license prior to changing two or more components in your system. Licenses cannot be released after the system is no longer valid. I've installed this with a Raid 10 ( 1+0 ) seems to be working fine thus far. It may have just been me, but I found getting around OCZ's website a little confusing.

This drive was a good investment. Standard SSD drives are just too expensive as I want a large boot drive. I use this drive to cache my 1.5TB WD Black HDD and it works very well. It reduced my boot times to just over a minute from around 5 minutes. The dynamic cache is great. With a regular SSD you have to install what you want to be fast on it. With this SSD and the Dataplex software whatever you use the most is fast, if you stop using something for a while it will need to be recached. Reduced load times of everything.
