I thought I wouldn't see the boot up time increases with my Laptop since it's just a i5 2410m (but maybe the 1333mhz ram helps a bit..) but I've been getting more or less the same. My windows boots up 50% faster, from over a minute, down to almost 30 seconds!

Amazing harddrive. After reading some reviews of people not liking this drive I took the plunge and man am I glad I did. My bootup time on my Macbook Pro went from 1:06 down to 19 seconds. My computer is way more responsive. It actually runs like a Macbook Pro should, like a Pro computer. The drive installed perfectly and runs dead silent. Honestly I could not be happier, this drive screams!! Seriously the best upgrade I could have done for the money. If you are looking for a new drive, buy this! You wont regret it.

I have only had this drive briefly, but so far so good. Got it to replace a hard drive which failed in my laptop. I've noticed a huge increase in speed, not only in boot up speed but also in overall performance.

Boots windows 7 almost exactly 50% faster in my test - time before login screen appears, desktop appears, and system is 'usable' all cut in half +/- 10 seconds compared to my stock 7200 RPM drive.

Great drive. Picked it up for a 15" 2012 Mac Book Pro, and there's a serious improvement in boot time and application load up. I'm really glad I picked this up. Highly recommended for those people who want a super fast drive, without having to sacrifice space for speed

Only had this drive installed for few days but it was recognized right away and even on an older system (Core 2 quad) is substantially faster then the old 7200 HDD i had for boot/shutdown times . It feels quicker for applications/folders and when you take into consideration it should* get faster the more it learns your habits and i am only using it with sata2 connections i am satisfied so far .
