XP Home is quite stable and runs pretty fast compared to Vista. However, it's missing some features such as connecting to Domains, and now and then you want to do something and you realize it can't, because only Professional edition has it.

What can I say? This is Windows XP. One of the greatest OS ever created by Microsoft. Not a lot flaws, but of course there are some. In my honest opinion XP support should not stop!

Windows Xp seems to be really good and better then all Windows Operating systems to be yet made. Needs less ram, less CPU, less space, less everything then Vista.

Got this for my mom's pc since she's one of them people who doesn't like to try new things (Vista anyone?). Anyways, this is a great OS and everything, its just a lil old and there's absolutely nothing about it that should make you want it more than Vista other than maybe the price. I say go with Vista, but if that's out of the question, this would be second best.

I wanted to get 4GB of ram, but I heard that XP usually reads about 3-3.5GB of ram, so I went with 2 for now. I was going to go with vista but heard about some compatibility issues with some software, so I went with XP in the end.

I bought this operating system, and it is GREAT!. Unless you want to spend the $$$ for Vista Ultimate, this is the better of the two.
