I had random freeze 1 or 2 times a week with a clean Windows 7 install for a couple weeks. 1 morning the computer didn't boot up, fired up a livecd to find my partitions gone.
I was pretty excited about what a good deal this 128GB drive was (all geared up for my new HDTV) but the case I wanted wasn't ready. Unfortunately, I didn't get my new case until after a month I purchased this SSD. Upon opening it, no power. Tried on a different computer, nada. Tried upgrading its firmware, drive was not detected. Tried on my laptop, same story - no detect. The drive didn't even seem to have powered up (though I can't really tell being non-mechanical but there was no heat produced on it).
Really happy with that SSD after putting it into my laptop where there were 7200RPM hdd before. The performance was boosted by a lot. Also, since nothing is turning, it is quiet nowGot it on rebate + got LG DVD writer for free. I recommend!

I cloned this SSD from my HDD, and replaced it with my HDD. My laptop has a SATAII interface, but it made a HUGE difference in speed. I was really really happy for 2 weeks.

Bought this for a really old laptop that had SATA connections, for shockproof and performance purposes. This drive will almost saturate the SATA150 standard for both read/write, but performance will almost double with newer SATA chipsets. The difference is, the newer drives with Sandforce controllers don't play very nicely with old SATA standards so this is about as cheap AND as effective in performance boost as you can get. Almost the same price as the smallest 2.5" HDD available.

So far no problems with it, threw it in a Sata 2 laptop so not expecting it to kill in speed, still is pretty fast compared to 5400 rpm hdd. more to extend battery life. Which it does. Have not had any problems that others are complaining about. Might just be lucky for now but either way thats what the garantee is for. As with any drive always have a backup of important stuff.

Had one drive die after about 3 weeks of usage. Reallocated sectors started to appear followed by random lockups followed by the drive finally failing to boot.
