I like having one drive exclusively to read and another to burn DVDs. I've always trusted LG brand DVD drives, so this was a no-brainer considering the price. My only minor complaint is that sometimes it has problems reading disks (just eject and pop them back in).

I have this dvd drive in my main rig for the last two years and I'm really satisfied with it. The dvd is not making to much sound and never broke.

Great secondary drive. It reads everything that I've thrown at it. The price is great as well. I've used LG drives in the past and I've always had a good experience with them.

First day i used this it worked perfectly. Now it doesn't autoplay any discs. This is not a huge problem, but kinda annoying to have to always open up the drive from My Computer.

I got this to replace an old defective DVD drive. It's a basic IDE DVD drive and not a burner, good for computers that need playback functionality only. I read that it can read Wii game images but I haven't tested it.

I bought this ROM mainly to be able to read Wii/Gamecube games. Still works perfectly and pretty happy about that! I recommand it.
