Maybe a bit late, but as the owner of this ram for more than 13 months, I am not disappointed at how it has performed. In all this time, the ram has been constantly reliable and it doesn't show anything signs that this ram will go "kaput" anytime soon. Although this review is fairly late, if there is anyone with an old computer which they still want to maintain (like the one i'm currently using), this ram is a worthy choice. The only weakness that comes in play for this ram is the fact that in 13 months, the price has only dropped a disappointing $5, which is places it in about the middle of the competition of 512mb and 1gb rams.      » READ MORE

This RAM is a great deal for the average person looking for an upgrade that wont cost them an arm and a leg. I previously had 2 of these in my computer and they did not fail me once, then I purchased 2 more just to get that extra gig of ram, and it as yet to fail me and I cant see it failing me anytime soon      » READ MORE

I have been using this on my machine for about 3.5yrs now! I'm a graphic designer and the programs I use are usually RAM hogs but only now have I started to feel the slowness. I think that's pretty impressive for such a long period. I am going to upgrade to another 1G stick and hopefully that will last for a little while longer at which point I'll bite the bullet and get a new machine when it decides to fail me. For now, it seems to be working great! 3.5 yrs ago I paid around $100!!! So this is a steal!      » READ MORE

bought 2 of these for a friend to upgrade his computer to 2gigs, work perfectly with his old ram and has no stability issues at all. works just as well as more expensive ram imo.      » READ MORE

I buy these anytime I need DDR ram.. Their always a great price, always good timings (running mine stable at DDR400 - 2.5-3-3-7). I'm also running these in dual channel mode surprisingly without issue. Like I said.. I always buy them, and can't justify the higher prices of other brands. I upgraded from 512mb to 1 gig of RAM last year and i just wanted the cheapest stuff I could get to improve my system performance. I did notice dramatic a speed increase in my system but considering I paid $50 for this, im not sure how worth it it was. But then again, you get what you pay for.      » READ MORE

I've bought this ram on a few occasions for various customers. I've never had a bad stick, on my own computer a few years ago I was even able to overclock this ram to 220 mhz. For the price it's great for a budget system and especially for a cheap upgrade. So if you need a little more ram for that s939, socket A etc.. system this is a cheap upgrade that will give you a little more life.      » READ MORE

I got these for a long time, and they've been serving me quite well. In terms of price versus performance, they are not the best, but for the price, who can complain? Except, the fact that they can fail on you sooner than you think. I got two of these for dual channeling, and one stick died only after less than one year of usage. The other stick survived until now, but I sense that it is starting to have problems. Overall, these are meant for budget users and those that still have DDR ram slot mobos.      » READ MORE
