the screen is slim, and is IPS that's a plus. it works extremely well for my small desk space and had HDMI and speakers built in. can't complain about it at this price range.

While the design of the body is not as attractive as it's sister model, the MX239, it's a very affordable, thin bezel monitor with great colour accuracy and viewing angles. hard to go wrong here.

The industrial design leaves something to be desired.

Summary
This is the American version, so it comes with all of the cables. Also, unlike the MX series, you can VESA mount this monitor, so it's great for productivity. If you're not looking for a gaming monitor, give this puppy a try.

so so image quality. wobbly stand. confusing osd. tinny sounding speaker. Output is connected vertically and no space if you want to use adapter for cable.

stand and osd issue is not a big deal. image quality is not that impressive but it's adequate for its price. speaker is very tinny sounding and no bass (only 1.5w so understandable). ok for if you need cheap monitor that works.

I was looking for an inexpensive but good quality monitor for everyday (not gaming) use. For a second screen next to my 2011 iMac (non retina). Side by side, they are very comparable in quality to my eye.
