Experience: 8 Weeks

Fast. It's an SSD. Nothing compares. Cost.
It's a bare drive. You have to go to the Intel web sire to download the drive utilities
If you are looking ror a great way to improve your computer, especially in boot speed, this is the way to go. It's fast, easy to use and simply one of the best.

Experience: 1 Years

Fast, Quiet, Cool, 2.5" size
Size limits
I have had 2 of these for a year and a half or so, and they still perform like champs. I recently added 4 more to my array and they are too fastI have to get a better raid controller now to actually get the speeds they're capable of.

As a single drive these are speedy, but make a raid0 array out of them and watch the speeds go through the roof!

Experience: 1 Years

Still rock solid and fast after 1 year.
Its a very good SSD. You cant go wrong. There are now lots of model that are better than the X25-M but when i buyed it, it was one of the best. Its still a very good one.

Experience: 3 Days

Read speeds pushing the 270 [mb/s] mark on my standalone drive.
Trim is now in firmware.
Photoshop opens in 2 seconds.
I took the leap and glad I did.
Not really a con, but price is high for the casual user.
As this posting, Intel has not yet implemented Trim in drivers for raid arrays.
If you just use your system to surf the web or email, this isn't a must have.
Win7 & Vista detect and support proper alignment on ssds. If you are using this as a boot drive for XP, you need to jump thru some hoops, as XP doesn't align correctly to ssds. Just google "xp ssd alignment" and this will direct you to the proper procedure for installing xp on a ssd.

Experience: 2 Weeks

Very fast, using as boot drive and my programs / games
Completely silent!
Capacity vs. Price
I built a new computer and thought I should add in an SSD and see what it could do. You will not be disappointed! I have done research online and found that Intel was one of the top SSDs.

Experience: 3 Months

Comes in a sketchy cardboard box
This SSD has one of the fastest random read speeds on the market which is the ONLY speed you should be worried about because it is the ONLY thing that determines how fast your OS and programs will load, and thats why you're buying an SSD isn't it?

Experience: 4 Months

Fast, Low heat
Capacity, price
Using with WinXP as boot drive with two partitions C: for my programs and D: for my frequently used data. I've got a 640GB WD for the rest of my data and my Drobo takes care of all my movies and music.

This drive is FAST!

XP users be sure to install the Intel Trim utility and schedule it to run every day because the speed degradation is noticeable even after one day of use (I'm a heavy user).

Experience: 1 Weeks

Extremely fast, great OS drive, speeds up the entire computer by such a significant margin I can't live without it.
Capacity naturally but hey, can't have everything.
Quite simply the best upgrade you can put in a computer that's already got decent hardware. It's the best $200 upgrade you can get for a computer if you don't already have a SSD.

I haven't used any other SSDs so I can't compare it in that regard but this is great.

Experience: 3 Weeks

The X-25 is usually heralded as the king of the mainstream SSDs, while not the highest in capacity, it's performance is hard to beat without going for a drive that's going to cost an extra 100-150 dollars or have a much smaller capacity.

It's ok in the grand pricing of SSDs but they're still a little overpriced in most instances.

Experience: 1 Weeks

-so fast it is unbelievable
-TRIM support
-Toolbox from Intel
-system runs faster in general
-windows experience score 7.7 for what it is worth
-high price for low storage
-firmware need updated
if you are getting one of these you have probably done your reading and know what you are getting into, this drive wont dissapoint.

Comment: Intel's X25-M may have been superceeded on paper by SandForce and Marvell drives but its real world performance is still highly competitive. With Intel you can also be sure of superior compatibility and QA testing
