- Not to loud
- Can run any game I've thrown at it at 1920x1200
- Power saving features when in 2D mode
- A bit long, so make sure to measure your case
- Not very good at Folding, yet. My 8800GTS 512 was actually better at Folding
AWESOME card. No complaints other than the minor ones reported above. But I'm sure they Folding issue can easily be solved with a new Folding client.

Experience: 7 Days

Highly powered, 3 monitors, Crossfire capable, cooler than Fermi
Very large (won't fit in many cases), cooler could be better
For anyone looking to keep up with current gen gaming on Dx11, support more than two monitors and play it all cool with a respectable frame rate should pick up this XXX card. Though not obvious, this is not the reference - it *is* the XXX version that ships with higher clocks. Keep in mind that there is a flash update  to the card to change the Core and Memory speeds from what is listed on the site.

This card although powerful, is not meant to run games on 3 monitors at full speed/high resolution. If you are looking to run games on mutli-monitor, high resolution with full settings pick up another or two, or look at the 5970.

And as for temperatures - it's fan is a little noticeable during games, but significantly cooler than the Fermi chips I have seen running whilst being much quieter.

Experience: 1 Weeks

Blazing fast, unbelievably quiet, very cool - heat and looks.
Ok so well this is my first "high end" gpu I have ever bought and I got to say I was more impressed by it then I thought I would be first off, this thing eats current games at max everything for breakfast it plays it all (even sc2!) over all I am very happy with this GPU the only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the XFX bios tbh its not good enough you need to flash it with a different one so you can oc it further then 900/1300, reports show with over volting it has gotten to 1380/1400 (Water cooling) 1150/1350 on stock fan.

Heat wise e stock it runs at 40 at idle, oc to 930/1320 it idles e 55, never goes above 83 from all the tests I did oced and non oced fan is pretty damn quiet if you have issues with that even at a 100% fan its still pretty tolerable.

when I have the cash ill definitely be buying another one.

- Runs pretty much everything
- Cool and quiet for the most part
- Low power consumption
- Expensive
- Heavy
Got this card, needed to make sure it was the reference design as I will be watercooling it soon.

CoD:MW2 and BF:BC2 maxed out and no problem. Smooth gameplay. Can have some issues with dual monitors. Screen flickering, but I was getting rid of the second monitor anyways.

Experience: 4 Days

xfx quality
very cool running
nothing at all
I added this great card to my rig , so i could run tri-fire (5970+5870) , and am i ever glad i did . this card runs very cool (30 idle/55c load) but once i installed my EK water block it now runs at (20c idle/28c load)
i received the new version of this card with stock clock speeds at 900/1250 , runs at 900/1300 no problem , i haven't tried using msi afterburner yet , i bet this card can do way past 1000 mhz on the core

i highly recommend this card

Really fast.
None found ....but I haven't pushed the card into manual overclocking yet.
I typically run sims. Non-overclocked, this card provided me with unparalleled performance. On a single LCD display, I could max out FSX frame rates and detail settings. I want to do a 6 display setup so I intend to upgrade to twin cards, but, if the pricing appears reasonable, I might look into twin 5970s. My opinion is either of these powerful radeon cards will do a fantastic job and will satisfy anything I would run on this platform- FSX, GTR Rev, NFS Shift, etc.

Experience: 30 Days

Very Powerful
Low Idle Power Consumption
This is a very powerful card. It runs Crysis very smoothly with Enthusiast settings, 4x AA, 1920 x 1080, the only 2 games besides Crysis that I've tried that pushes this card are Stalker: Clear Sky & GTA IV. Fan is like a jet engine if you turn it up using CCC, but it never has to go above barely audible levels to play a game, almost silent actually. Highly recommended!

Experience: 1 Days

Looks good and that is all.
Green dots appear on the screen. The dots get worse when
you open a window and try dragging it. The lines
loose their straightness and texture. 1
This is was a poor decision on my part to buy this card.
I was really hoping it would work. I am not pleased with
the card. Save your money and do not but ATI products.
I had the card installed by a professional and I had to
uninstall ATI and go back to my old BFG 8800 over-clocked
video card. Hope to get my money back. Called XFX
for tech support and they were no help at all.

Experience: 33 Days

very powerful
crashes frequently and totally randomly even on older games
all in all it is a nice card, it looks good in your case and has good performance.
thats is when it actually works properly. it crashes no matter how high or low the setting in the games are and no matter how new or old the game is. after reading up online it seams to be a known issue with this card with no real fix. i'm no expert but from what i read it seams to be a problem right from AMD. i hope it's only driver related and will be fixed soon.

Experience: 3 Weeks

I love this card it really works well with every thing i do Im not a huge gamer but it works really well for all of my applications
