Experience: 10 Months

Price (good value for the buck)
slightly noisy fan if on 80% +
A very great card for the price. First ever ATI card and I'm very satisfied so far, no real complaints at all. Overclocks very well.

Experience: 1 Months

Quiet, Very Fast, Display Port, Good Price
For this price - none.
This card is the best bang for the buck imho. It is very fast and quiet. My games running smooth like butter. Requires only a single power adapter plug compared to my old Radeon 4870 which required two.

Experience: 1 Years

When on sale, cheaper than other competitor
Easy to overclock
Snagged this a while back while it was on a great sale. It is definitely a cheap buy if you can find it for 30 or so dollars off. Recommended to anyone! Can run almost any game on high+ graphics

Experience: 9 Months

Solid card, plays arkham city on high, lotro on ultra no problem
Bought this card about $30 less than other 6850's on the market at the time. Run's most games on high. Stable on 800Mhz overclock with temps below 70c. 36.2fps Unengine Heaven.

Experience: 3 Months

Great GPU, powerful, mostly idle during normal operation.
Not so quiet fan under high load
Nice card, does the job, not too big.
Was a steal during Boxing day ;o)

Experience: 1 Years

I can literally play anything I wants on Ultra settings! I have spent more than $1000 in Steam Games it blows through everything I through at it.
It gets hot at times... Not to Major.
I can literally play anything I wants on Ultra settings! I have spent more than $1000 in Steam Games it blows through everything i through at it. It can sometimes get hot, CCC gives you a good idea of what the temps are and you can adjust the fan speeds which can be helpful. I'v had it for almost a year now at least.. Overall great price as well and great product! Thanks NCIX.

Experience: 2 Weeks

Affordable graphics solution.
Backwards comparable with older board.
Long card, thick shroud.
Luckily my case has a modular design, pulled the hard drive module out so the card could fit. Stuck hard drives in a static area. Card length & shroud thickness covered 2 sata connections on the motherboard. Limited now to 2 sata connectors. This is just bad luck or poor motherboard design. Ncix sells affordable 3.5" drive enclosures, so my sata storage drive can be used, via usb 2.0.

This card was the single biggest improvement for my older core 2 duo (e5200). Took a gamble using it on an older 755 motherboard with pci-e 1.1 (x16), booted no problem & works like a charm! Can play battlefield 3 on medium & multiple instances of mmo's play soo well. overclocking is limited, but there. Exceptional value.

Experience: 3 Months

Excellent for serious gamers who want to minimize cost. Great price to performance ratio. Faster and especially better at running high resolutions than the slightly cheaper 6770's. This can sometimes be found for cheaper than other 6850's. Relatively good power consumption.

I was able to get this with two free game coupons. It was an amazing and unbeatable deal at the time. I don't even want to say what games they were because I'm afraid you'd feel jealous.
Runs pretty hot. Not the best 6850 out there. Many other versions of the 6850 are better made and run cooler and/or quieter (mostly due to better cooling). The HIS ICEQ X Turbo is currently on sale for the same price, and at the same price is definitely superior to this one. Power consumption is best in its performance category (for now), but there are other cards out there that offer considerably better speed per power consumption.
GTX 560's can be found for only 20 dollars more (if you're lucky), and are arguably better performers for the money. The sticker started peeling off after only a few months (I don't like tacky looking stickers on my fan cowling anyway).
A very good value card, but many other versions of the 6850 are slightly better made and run cooler and/or quieter (mostly due to better cooling). The HIS ICEQ X Turbo is currently on sale for the same price, and at the same price is definitely superior to this one. Some Nvidia cards are about as good a value (which is better depends on which features you prefer, like better power consumption).

- Price (good value for the buck)
- Seems very stable (so far)
- No big problems with drivers (so far)
- Only one really, the fan is extremely noisy
It has been a long time since I owned a Radeon based graphics card. I had gotten tired of the endless problems with nVidia drivers, blue screens, overheating in card after nVidia card so I decided to try Radeon again. I am not disappointed seems like this one can run at high settings with only minor hiccups. I have only had 2 blue screens since installing this card, one occurred upon first installation reboot and one shortly after. Since updating drivers no more blue screens in Windows 7 64 bit. So I am hoping this trend continues.

The only negative with this is at times the fan is extremely loud, probably the loudest video card I have ever owned. So bad that I am considering changing it out via RMA, I haven't checked into this yet. I have to put headphones on and turn up the volume it is that loud. I don't know if it is supposed to be that loud. It sounds like a normal fan sound but just extremely loud. At idle it is acceptable but once a game is started the RPM cranks up and it ready to take off.

On the sound problem I have to downgrade my rating to 2 star, this level of noise is unacceptable, otherwise this card would have gotten a 4 out of 5, maybe even 5 out of 5.

Experience: 5 Days

-plays most new games at medium settings
-feels fragile. wobbles a lot
good gpu but when i was installing it, it wouldn't go 100% inside my z68 gen3 mobo socket in a TT v4 black case. still worked though.
