Experience: 3 Days

Build quality
Returned for something more comfortable to my grip.
Thought I'd like this mouse due to it's size and great reviews. I use a hybrid palm/claw grip and though it wasn't as nice as it's replacement, the Rival, it fit ok. I just didn't care for the wideness of it up front. Kind of makes your hand spread out and leaves fingers feeling out of place. Have to compliment the build quality though. It's top notch, and for that price it better be.

Experience: 10 Months

looks nice
cuts out with base randomly, cuts when plugged in randomly, un accurate and sketchy on its best day, doesn't like any mouse pad (used a purple binder) lifts off the mat (un balanced) overpriced on its best sale, battery doesn't last 6 hours outta box. mouse wheel friction spots. lighting cuts out sporadically. squeaky mouse clickers, and synapse is a terrible piece of software imo atm.
i wouldn't buy this again with my brothers money. i would have liked to have a durability summary for you. but its gonna sit in a bin forever for all i care.

Experience: 2 Years

Nice look, cool stand, great performance
Battery can be annoying, doesn't always work on start up
Great gaming mouse, the wireless feature is a nice addition.

Experience: 1 Years

nice look
razer software bug the system in some cases
a bit expensive

Experience: 1 Months

Great shape, battery life is what was expected, flashy lights are always awesome.
Synapse 2.0
As with my previous experiences with Razer product, the hardware itself is great and I love it, but their new(er) Synapse 2.0 software is horrible. It doesn't happen often (maybe once a month at most) but my system has had BSOD issues due to the Synapse software. The software is also slow to respond and a bit buggy updating configs to the mouse at times whether it be DPI level changes (from the software, not the mouse) or different colours. If Razer could improve their software I'd give it five stars.

Experience: 3 Months

Can be used as wireless and wired
Nothing yet so far
Great mouse! It could be better if the price is a little lower.

Experience: 5 Months

* Comfortable to hold
* Wireless
* Responsive buttons
* Variety of colors
* Save profiles (keep mouse settings using on other PC)
* Battery life (9-10 hours)
* Side grips wear off within 2 weeks of use and turns sticky
* Button 5/6 is so hard to click you won't even want to use it
* Sometimes you lose connection (rarely and it's fixable)
* Fairly weighty
The Razer Mamba is a high end wireless gaming mouse, for the most part it does great for it's intended use. I have personally encountered hiccups with the wireless mode but you just have to spend 30 seconds re-syncing it.
Offers extremely high DPI but you'll never use anything above 3000 anyway, also has good precision and overall smoothness.
The side grips for your thumb is terrible, it got worn out within 2 weeks of use and became sticky, it's not the end of the world but feeling that stickyness every time using the mouse gets to me eventually, overall it doesn't really bother me much but I rather it wasn't sticky.
Overall it's a good wireless gaming mouse, if they come out with a new model with better grips on the side and have the option to turn off the "dock" light while charging then I'll give it a 5/5

Experience: 5 Days

- Wireless/Wired Dual Mode
- Multiple colour options for lighting
- Wheel is solid to click; no side deflection
- Wireless lag at times
- Buttons feel 'cheap'
- Side ergonomics
I've been testing this mouse for the last 5 days and have run it through the paces. I've been using mostly Logitech mice in the past, and when my G5 finally started to give out, I decided I'd try something from another company. A friend of mine hooked me up with the Mamba, and I was excited to give it a go.

The packaging is probably some of the most detail-oriented packaging for a mouse I've seen. The pedestal the mouse sits on makes it look store-shelf-appealing, and the 'drawers' in the bottom half of the box are a clever way to separate the different components.

After getting it set up, I immediately jumped into using it wirelessly to see how it handled. I was surprised to see the minimal lag right off the bat, having used a G7 for a while (Lag with that mouse was at times unbearable, and the auto-sleep wasn't adjustable). The wireless receiver connected to the mouse right away, and the mouse was able to be set up completely wirelessly. Several hours of gaming hardly made a dent in the battery level, which was surprising given the high polling rate (1000 or 1ms). I did notice a bit of lag at times (still not sure what the cause was) where the mouse would randomly skitter about the screen for a split second before returning to the general area the cursor was at before the skitter.

The software took a bit of clicking through to figure out where everything was set and what options controlled the various aspects of the mouse, but customizability is very high - everything from colour and intensity of the light to buttom mapping and macros can be configured in the Synapse 2.0 software. A downside: you must be connected to the internet for the software to activate, so you have to initialize the mouse online first before offline setting changes become persistent.

One other complaint I had about the mouse: the buttons on the mouse felt flimsy and sounded hollow and 'plasticky', very similar to the vintage Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical that used to come packaged with OEM computers. The keys do have a definitive click to them, however; they don't feel squishy, just hollow and lacking structure. I'm surprised they're rated for the click quantity they are.

Overall, I'd say this mouse gets a 4/5 - it's not quite a 5/5, because of the odd feeling buttons and occasional lag, but that may be because of my Logitech hardware history.

Experience: 8 Months

Really nice looking and feel
customization is nice
drivers, wireless , lack of razer update  to synapse 2.0 even though promised
Razer promised to update  to synapse 2.0 but now i have to have mamba software running plus synapse for my blackwidow! more ram use but not much but just annoying maybe Im nit picky.

But its wireless feature well on mine doesnt work anymore. I re installed drivers which corrected it temporarily but the problem is back so RMA I guess now unfortunately.

Other than that it very nice but I might as well just got the Deathadder with SYNASPE SUPPORT and who needs wireless haha I only paid 70 more dollars for that and fancy dpi which 6400 is so nice its all I can use now

Experience: 5 Months

-Nice ergonomic feel
-Wireless (see summary)
-Only comes with one battery
-Wireless (see summary)
-Non-slip feet
This mouse is average, and considering the price I would not recommend it to others. There are plenty of other mice at lower prices that would topple the Mamba over, with the biggest problem being the tracking. Though razer boasts a response second of 1ms, either the wireless connector or the laser are inadequate for gaming; also, the non-slip Teflon feet are very small.
