Experience: 1 Years

Can run anything I throw at it, never had anything it can't run.
Can't make me a sandwich
Love this card so much I ordered a second for Crossfire. It can make a little bit of nose when running at full when I mine Bitcoin, but never needs to put fans on max. The noise never interferes with anything, don't even have to increase the volume on my music.

I have stopped mining Bitcoin with it. The increased difficulty has make it worthless to mine without one of those ASIC machines.

I only bought the second one because it was on sale. It won't impact game quality until games become more advanced.

Experience: 1 Days

great card, looks nice
runs hot
ncix been getting rid of these cards as the new R9 series cards are coming out. Most Radeon cards tend to run hot, but overall its a great card

Experience: 7 Days

Worked great out of the box, easy to install (requires 6pin + 8 pin, min 500w PSU) although it is fairly big. Heatsinks are great, no more noise then my old 650TI, more then optimal for BF4 witch is a GPU hound.
The 'never settle' settle radeon incentive code i got does not work, neither does the replacement.
All in all, I have had no issues with the card itself, but the incentive to buy was the rewards bundle, and now twice (after my first coupon didint work, I opened a ticket and was given another, same result: coupon code already redeemed) NCIX was unable to provide me with a valid code. This is quite unerving as it is a roughly 180$ incentive to buy and so far I won't be able to get anything from it. Is there a problem with NCIX's database? Are the employees stealing the codes and giving them to friends? Dont know, don't care, all I know is Im out 3 games. DO NOT PURCHASE if your incentive to buy is the 3 games.

Experience: 4 Months

Good performance in game.
Bad card, bad support
Card I got is faulty, or perhaps cooler, resulting in lots of graphics glitches in games likely due to overheating and it's not a case heating issue. Could be some other problem. Ended up going for replacement through XFX support which was a painfully slow process. Unfortunately just when they agreed I was sent travelling for work so missed on the RMA (my own fault obviously) so still have the card.
When it's not glitching it gets good performance in games.

Experience: 15 Days

Great performance
Looks awesome
Doesn't come with any adapters except Crossfire bridge
Runs hot
Fans not so quiet
This is a great card, but it runs hotter than my Sapphire 7970 OC cards and the fan is much louder. It's a little slower than the Sapphire's, but nothing significant. Lack of extra adapters is insignificant given you have the right PSU connectors, but Sapphire cards come with 2 PCI-e > Molex and a DVI > VGA. Nice if you need them, luckily for this card I didn't.

Experience: 6 Months

amazing card, could run everything at max settings, any game to date
card started overheating and causing crashes when in game constantly after 5 months. i uninstalled and re installed drivers 100's of times. i checkedfor dust build up and there was not at all enough to cause a problem. i searched all over fourm sites and tried lots of support contacts including xfx and got now replys. now one fan is rattling and spinning off center....
upset this has been my first build and i put most of my money into this card and ive had such a bad experience with it.
wish i could actually get a reply so i could get some kind of refund

Experience: 4 Months

Comparable to or better than a geforce 680 gtx but way less money
Runs a little on the warm side, but this is normal
Just bought and installed my 2nd card for crossfire with a 6 core i7 just benchmarked bioshock infinity at res ultra settings avg fsp 123 with bioshock benchmark, works awesome on every game ultra settings, bf3, crysis3, i am in love with this card... Buy it you won't be disappointed

Experience: 1 Weeks

Good graphic card, easy to install.
None so far!
I was hesitating between this card and the GTX 680. The lower cost and the promo made me go for AMD. Very happy with my choice!

runs quiet, and performs well
Games haven't received.
Very good card. runs very quiet. My only beef is I haven't received any of the games yet.

Experience: 1 Days

Runs cool.
All metal shroud
Dual fan
Replaced 5870 crossfire. Overclocked it to 1050/1500 with max temp at 61 and 37 idle. Feels like I can overclock it more but not worth pushing it too hard. With the old gpus get good fps (90-120) on all medium setting for bf3. Now mix off ultra and high setting with same or higher fps (95-130)then older setup. With 120htz monitor this gpu shines .

Comment: In today’s graphics card market, the AMD Radeon HD 7970 comfortably sits at the top of the hierarchy thanks to CGN architecture, 384-bit memory interface and 925MHz clock speed. However, since the reference HD 7970 core can scale well beyond 1000MHz, most AMD board partners offer an overclocked SKU

Comment: At this point in time XFX’s biggest advantage is that they’re the only vendor offering an open air cooler. ... Regardless of the resolution and anti-aliasing setting used, the BEDD’s lead on the reference 7970 is always 7-8%
