The is a fantastic video card. I replaced a GTX 570SC with this and very pleased with the upgrade at this point. This Gigabyte card idles with a 20% fan speed, which makes it almost silent, along with a temp of around 30C. At full load while gaming (Dishonored) the highest temp hit 46C, compared to over 80C with the 570. I never noticed the fan at all during the gaming so the speed must remain low.
Based on the performance I'm seeing at 1920 x 1200 resolution of my monitor, overclocking isn't necessary to handle the highest settings of games that I play.
This card is a real bargain at the recent under $300 price it's been selling for. Get it while you can!

This card replaces my Radeon HD6950 (flashed to 6970) and increased performance by 50 to 100% depending on game or test.
Bought in on sale at a price I could not resist plus I get the new Batman Origins game when it releases next month. I've bought Gigabyte products in the past and have found them to be high quality reliable products.
the boost is great. It says 980MHz with boost to 1080MHz or something like that. According to GPU-Z it actually goes up to about 1160MHz in pure stock mode.
It runs very cool and quiet. The 3 fan method really works great providing you have enough fans to exhaust the heat out the back.
All in all - Very very pleased with the purchase.

One of my friends has this card and it is amazingly fast. It plays any games at max settings on a 1080 full HD tv.
I always like Gigabyte products. Their aftermarket cooling systems are always good and they offer a good warrenty.

I've been wanting to buy one of these for a while and I'm glad I did. This is an amazing card that runs all may games on ultra without as much as a stutter or a hiccup. I was also surprised how light the card was. I thought it would be much heavier. The windforce cooler keeps the card at between 31 - 33 degrees at idle and around 40 - 45 when gaming using Precision X to define the fan curve, speed and associated temps.

This is an excellent singe-card solution. Fast and stable. Only had a few issues with textures not rendering properly in certain games (eventually draws but the lag is noticeable), probably will be fixed by updated drivers. Oh, and it will heat a small room quite nicely (no surprise).

First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Currently Gigabyte accepts end users’ requests on RMA service.
Motherboards, Video cards, servers and Rackmount server boards carry three years limited warranty.
Warranty Effective On Date of Manufacture
Gigabyte determines warranty based on the manufacture date. The manufacture date can be verified by the serial number found on the product. The first four digits after "SN" determine the year and week of manufacturing date. For example:
"01)04719331729028(21) SN0213030585" represents the 13th week of 2002
RMA Request Procedures and Guidelines

All RMA request forms must be completed in order to obtain a RMA number

RMA request with missing or incorrect serial number(s) may result in a delayed process or a rejection of request
- Any model discrepancy for received items may result in a delayed processing timeProducts received with no RMA number may delay processing or refusal

GOVERNMENT & BUSINESS Laptop and Notebook purchases made with government or business POs can be returned typically within fourteen (14)
