Experience: 3 Years

Best CPU ever

This cpu is one of my best purchases during the last few years, it's very stable, reliable and fast enough for most of the daily tasks, I am using it on daily basis non-stop for 3 years and it's still running like charm.

Experience: 5 Years

Powerful CPU Verified OwnerVerified Owner

Multi task
Gaming performances
It performs very well for everything like gaming or multi tasking.

Experience: 3 Months

Best bang for your buck

Easy overclocking
Can run lots of powerful games

Fast reliable but it can overheat so be carful or invest in a good cooling system. Can be over clocked from an app so it is easy to go from 4 ghz to 5ghz. Overall awesom!!!

Experience: 4 Months

The CPU is good for most day-to-day tasks. Also decent for video rendering.

Experience: 16 Days

a great powerful cpu

Experience: 2 Years

Good for the price

Powerful and still plays modern games at reasonable settings and fps
Older CPU and socket soon to be replaced
Can get quite warm if not well cooled
Would wait for Ryzen at this point unless there is a really good deal

Experience: 6 Days

8 core gaming beast Verified OwnerVerified Owner

- 8 cores so multi tasking is easy
- easily hit 5Ghz with h100i liquid cooler
- affordable
none so far
I am very pleased with this cpu and I have recommended the upgrade to my little brother he's currently running the fx6300 and wants to upgrade

Experience: 2 months

Good value
Older Chipset
Nice temps Good Price Good for budget build however its an older cpu and starting to become obsolete

Experience: 7 Days

Good bang for the $$$ Verified OwnerVerified Owner

The price point is the best part about AMD. Performance is good.
Unsure if it will keep up with intel chips. But good for my use.
I'd recommend running your old computer for a few mins before install to heat up the thermal compound. Mine was a little tough to get off, made me a little nervous. ;)

Experience: 14 Days

Working fine Verified OwnerVerified Owner

Cheap as hell: 189$
Do collaborate on climate changes because it produce alot of heat!
Working properly so far with an old thermaltake v2. (32 C on idle)

Comment: However, the FX-8350’s enticing price, overall performance against the immediate Intel competition and improvements over AMD's previous generation should make it an instant hit.

Comment: AMD comes out swinging with a great value CPU with much improved performance over the last FX processors.
