Experience: 8 Months

good price
works well
good for a little PC on a budget
you get what you pay for
I used this CPU for a small PC digital picture editing PC on a budget. It works well and is a solid preformer. For what you pay, there is not much you can complain about.

Experience: 60 Days

Very fast, good Processor for whatever you need
Runs very hot...
I bought this for a computer build-my first one, and after finally getting it going I found that it wasrunning hot(95). I took off the OEM paste and put Artic Silver on and she is down to a respectable 45 now. Other than that, no problems and is a good product.

excellent built and quality
non so far
I paid 280 for this CPU. A good buy even at that price. Overclocked it to 3.5GHz without any problem. Stock fan is quiet and enough for overclocking. Bought last year.

Experience: 4 Months

Performs very well, fast, fast, fast.
It can always be faster.
This is a nice processor. I thought maybe I was going to be disappointed in it's performance because I have been so happy with the AMD processors, however I was pleasantly surprised. I must add to this though that I am running very fast DDR2 Memory as well as a Kickass video card along with a SATA2 Harddrive. All that helps in the overall performance. All in all I can't complain a great processor for the price.

Experience: 1 Years

Great Budget processor for games
Handles Any day-2-day tasks
2MB Cache
Get quite hot without aftermarket cooler
I've been using this p4 3.0ghz for just under a year now, and it's performed fenominal for me.. I play games like quake 4 on it, and it runs just fine.. Don't even need to overclock it or nothing.. i'm pretty satisfied with p4, and I would never go to the unstable amd's . especially if you do graphics programming like me.. you just can't have it risk crashing, so thats why i went with intel !!

HT, 2MB L2, 64BIT
hot, consumes alot of power
The PENTIUM 4 630 is a good processor. The performance is ok. It is noticeably faster than my Athlon XP 2800+ when running some applications. But while gaming, my friend's Athlon 64 3200+ is also noticeably faster, specially in games like Counter-Strike Source.

Good Performance for the price
Not bad for gaming
Stock heatsink isn't the best quality
Good processor for gaming given the price. If one uses the stock cooler and some Arctic Silver 5, instead of the paste that comes pre-applied, the temps are pretty good.

Experience: 15 Months

Great overclocker. Very stable.
Latency... But that's due to Netburst
Purchased here. I have this chip running 4.0Ghz quite stable with stock volts and the same temps as stock speed (3.0Ghz). Definitly a chip I like. But P4's definitly need to be over 4.0GHz to perform.

Experience: 1 Years

Great processor for the price!
Gets kind of hot, installation of the heatsink was a pain, felt like my motherboard was going to crack.
I've had this for more than a year, it's a decent processor but I will definitely have to upgrade to get more out of the newer games I intend to play.

Experience: 2 Weeks

intel rules!
bought this one on sale.....
great cpu for the money.......
fired up first try and has been running 24/7 ever since....
i would recommend this cpu to everyone.....
