Summary
Excellent power supply. I bought this for it’s quality and quiet operation. Also I wanted a power supply with one 12v rail rather than several to maximize the power usage. It’s over 80% efficient and has ample cables to cover just about everything in a typical case.

Good solid PSU. Running Q9450 with a slight overclock on a Rampage formula, HD4870 with AC Twin turbo, 8GB Mushkin DDR2-8000 ram, 3 HDD's, 5 fans, DVD combo drive, couple of pci cards... running great! Gonna add another 4870 which should be able to handle it no prob. Great buy on sale

Not modular. The extra unused cables are tough to hide away.This isn't a weakness but the power cord and switch are reversed ( upside down) compared to all the other PS's that i've had.

Excellent power supply. I bought this for my very first from scrath pc build and have been very pleased with it. The only improvement i can think of would be to have modular cables.

Picked this PSU up because it was recommended by MaximumPC, and it did not let me down in the slightest. It's quiet, fits perfectly into my case. The cables were a little snarly and hard to route, mostly because my case isn't too monstrous (Antec Three Hundred.) It's affordable, and does a good quiet job. Just what I look for in a PSU.

Bought this PSU in hopes of quiet, solid power and it delivers. It is also fairly cool but not as cool as my last PSU (Enermax 485W). Rock solid, lots of connectors for a mid to low range machine.

Bought this for my studio pc, i was running a thermaltake 430w psu, and was running sli 7800gt's, 4gb ram, 2 500gb external hd, 2 250gb internal hd, and an x-fi elite pro
...never the less i was getting crashes quite often, and since this upgrade have not gotten one
great product, worth the bucks

Summary
The Silencer 610W is powerful and quiet (until pushed), and will run any sli or crossfire setup. It's performance is similar to the HX620W, which is absolutely phenomenal boasting an 80% power efficiency. I used the Silencer with a Q6600 (OC'd to 3.0 with 1.25v), P5N32-E SLI, 8800GTs in SLI, with 2x500 Seagates, and the power supply was fairly quiet. Everything rock stable.
Very happy with this PSU. Highly recommended!
