Pros
This card is gddr3 which is awesome for gaming. decent price
|
Cons
fan is loud
|
Summary
The fan is incredily loud at startup. After installing the drivers it remained just as loud.
Its a great video card. You may want to purchase after market cooling to decrease the loudness of the fan.

Pros
Price/Performance

Cons
Noise

Summary
Have had this card for 5 months now and am still able to play new games at resonable frame rates. The stock cooler is the loudest fan in my case when running 3d apps, might be an issuse for some people.

|
Pros
Awesome performance
|
Cons
EXTREME power requirements
|
Summary
I've been running this graphics card for three months now and I'm very satisfied with it. The only drawback is that you need a 30A 12v rail on your PCIe connector or it may not boot at all or reboot when you really go graphics-heavy. For example my OCZ GameXtreme 600W power supply only has 18A on each 12v rail and I've had to get a new PSU to run this graphics card.

Pros
Doesn't use extra slot cooling like most cards Great bundle Easy to setup
|
Cons
Fan makes a weird noise Drivers don't fully support this yet
|
Summary
This card is very easy to install and use. There was a driver issue, but that's because of ATI and has nothing to do with the card. The fan I had was making weird grinding noise so I RMA'd it. Overall, I would recommend this product.

Pros
-First 80nm process graphics card -Single slot cooling -Great performance-per-dollar
|
Cons
DirectX9, when DX10 is around the corner.
|
Summary
I purchased this video card after reading various reviews, and found it to be the highest performing single-slot video card available. Single slot was very important to me, as my case is slightly constrained as it is. This card definately delivers! I ran into a few kinks with the catalyst drivers not being compatible with this model when it first came out, but the newest versions of the cat. drivers work great! The card runs all my games smooth at higher resolutions than I was expecting (but then again, comming from a 9800pro, I'm probably easy to impress), and it'll be interesting to see where this new generation of crossfire takes scalability. Would definately buy again!

Pros
Exceptional card for the cost...
|
Cons
Fairly large card - I had to move a hard drive so it would fit...
|
Summary
First of all, NCIX was the only place I could find this card in stock 1 month before Christmas. Like using any new online retailer, I had my reservations about using a new company, but all I can say is NCIX delivered.
For $250.00 you won't find a card that can keep up with this one. In 90% of benchmarks this card excels past the comparable nVidia card. The only complaint I had about the card is it allows itself to get fairly hot before the fan really kicks in. I am using a 3rd party tool to increase the fan speed manually, which allows the card to stay below 60C.

In the mid-range segment, bang for the buck is king, and the Sapphire X1950 Pro delivers a strong bang for not that many bucks. While it can't hang with an overclocked 7900 GT like the XFX model we used for reference in some games, it can keep pace or outperform it in others. Plus, it performs right |

The Sapphire X1950 Pro is, in our estimation, an excellent card for its market position. It is a reasonable choice for the gamer or other moderate 3D user who wants to go beyond that aging DirectX 7 or 8 card, but has no wish to give up all of the nicest features, and certainly doesn’t want to purch |
