Pros

Cheap, Likely Overclockable
Cons
Not the fastest, small cache
Summary
To build a budget system, this is a great processor. I use them for builds I do for business clients, and it provides pently of speeds for their little workstations. I haven't experimented much with overclocking on the budget microATX motherboards I've been using, but they're supposed to rock for that - as long as you don't need the big cache (i.e. video encoding benefits from big cache).

Great value, especially if you want to try overclocking these. You're basically getting a small cache core 2 processor for less than half the price.

Pros

Great Overclocker with M0 Or L2 Stepping.
Stays Super Cool!
Not really a need to up voltage if you dont want to.
Cons
Less cache
Weak stock cooler
Summary
I have to say that this chip is the best chip I have ever owned so far. For the minimal price tag, its insane that you can get such speeds. I managed to get a full 100% stable overclock to 3.2Ghz, I did have to tweak some more voltage out of it, but thats besides the point. Get a good cooler(Thernalright Ultra 120), and a good platform board and your good to go! If I compare this to my old chip (P4 519 3.06Ghz 533Fsb) this chip actually runs as fast at stock speeds! I can't believe that this is available for such prices. Im going to buy 1 or 2 more for future OC rigs! Great buy in my oppinion, and if you ask me the M0 stepping chips are the ones to look out for, they can handle the temps better, and the steping is a tad nicer to deal with! Great chip all around if you dont need the cache.

Cons
Got a B version
Summary
Was a weak overclocker but the CPU is still plenty fast for everyday tasks but definitely not gaming grade.

Summary
nice cpu,
bought it with the asrock conroe 1333-d667 board
was able to build a nice office pc for less than $300, with
1 gb ram, 160 gb HD, dvd burner and fortron 350 watt psu.

Pros

amazing price/performance
Cons
none, except for maybe the heatsink
Summary
This processor is really fast for the price. Even though it was running at 1200mhz due to the motherboard's feature, it was still fast. Not fast for gaming at that speed, but fast for document opening, browsing, and doing regular work that people do on their computer.

Pros

price
c2d
motherboard support
Cons
none so far
Summary
bought this for a business computer to upgrade from an old Pentium. So far its been flawless, paired up with 2gigs of ram and an 80gb hdd makes an alright office pc.

Pros

Amazing overclocker
Cons
Hits a FSB wall at 405
Summary
I had decided to wait for penryn, but a hardware failure pressed me to build my new computer now. I had heard about good overlclocking results with the E21XX's, so I figured that I would go with the cheapest possible since I planned on upgrading in the new year. I'm currently 100% stable at 3240MHz, 8x405, on 1.4vcore. I'm happy enough that I may even wait a while after the penryn launch to see if prices come down. My only disappointment is that I'm sure this chip has more in it, but the low 8x multi is holding it back. It is not stable at anything past 405~ FSB even with the 6x multi. If I did it again I'd pay the few extra bucks for a E2180.

Experience: 3 Weeks

Pros

Huge overclock ability
Works great
Cons
Low on chip memory
Summary
Simply put... spent about 70 bucks for a dual 3.2 ghz processor, no voltage increase (in fact... a decrease!)

I think its hard to beat that.

Pros

Cheap Conroe Processor
Cons
All Aluminum Heatsink
Summary
This is a great cheap little cpu with great OC potential. Just don't expect to do too much with the stock cooler.

Pros

Cheapest dual core, OCable.
Cons
I got L2 stepping instead of M0.
Stock fan.
Summary
It's the cheapest Intel Dual core CPU. Although the L2 is only 1MB, it's still fast when you OC it. If you get M0 and put it into P35 MB, it usually guarantee OC to 400*8=3.2GHz. I took 1 star off because of L2 stepping and the suck stock fan, but you can easy solve it.
